The Birchwood collection is a series of designs made by Werner Neumann. Werner is a designer from Eindhoven that loves to create objects that are functional, yet outspoken and surprising in design. The pieces are all made with strong craftsmanship.

This series is made from Birchwood that the designer from Eindhoven found in the woods. Touched by the beauty of birch bark, Neumann allowed the material to keep it’s natural value and used it to cover his furniture pieces. In order to make the bark flat it is pressed and glued onto wood.
