The Birchwood collection is a series of designs made by Werner Neumann. Werner is a designer from Eindhoven whose designer is distinct and surprising in shape, but can also be used functionally. The pieces are all made with tremendous craftsmanship.

This series is made of Birch bark that the Eindhoven designer found in the woods. Touched by the beauty of the material, Neumann left the material in its natural state and used it to upholster furniture. To flatten the bark, it is pressed and then glued to wood.
