plain clay floor lamp

Maarten Baas designed this new series, the Plain Clay collection, on the basis of his previous Clay series. The fingerprints of the hands that shaped the clay are still visible, so that each piece of furniture is unique. Unlike the original clay series, this new clay is processed in a way that makes lacquering unnecessary. A special technique gives the material four different colours: black, red, green and blue. This cute characteristic floor lamp is part of this series. All pieces are handmade. The Plain Clay lamp is also available as a table lamp.
