'The Elda Chair', a design classic since 1963.
Originally designed by industrial designer Joe Colombo and named after his wife: Elda. Inspired by shipbuilding technology, the Elda chair was the first chair in 1963 with a fully self-supporting fiberglass frame. The Elda chair is manufactured with several upholsteries.
The outer fibreglass frame comes in the solid colours white and black, or in bronze, grey or blue metallic finishing. The mentioned price is for the white fiberglass shell with black leather upholstery as shown in the first picture.
