Inspired by the concept of crossing Baroque with Brutalism, this design explores the concepts of optics and ‘visual alchemy’ so fundamental to the identity of Kit Miles. The viewpoint shifts and changes, creating a complex series of perspectives and emphasizing the diamond motif as well as what Kit has called a ‘spatial herringbone’, where the pattern appears to extrude from the surface. This design makes for a familiar yet quietly subversive repeat, perfect for a contemporary home.
