Boris de Beijer works between sculpture and design, transforming everyday materials into objects that appear far more precious than they are. Drawing from traditional craftsmanship but applying it in unexpected ways, his practice plays with illusion, value, and perception: turning the familiar into something strange and otherworldly.

In his mirror works, function becomes secondary to experience. Frames feel almost liquid, organic, or synthetic, blurring the boundary between object and ornament.
