Originally designed in 1952 by Franco Albini in collaboration with Franca Helg, the Tre Pezzi armchair is a masterful reinterpretation of the classic bergère. Defined by three distinct geometric elements: a generously curved seat, a ring-shaped backrest, and a crescent-shaped headrest, the design achieves a striking balance between architectural clarity and exceptional comfort.

The upholstered forms appear to float within a slender tubular metal frame inspired by industrial scaffolding, while the elegantly curved armrests reference the handrails Albini and Helg designed for the Milan underground system. The result is an iconic armchair with a bold visual presence and enduring modernity, faithfully reissued by Cassina with great respect for the original design.
