Faye Toogood’s creative process almost always begins by working by hand. For Astral, the initial profiles were shaped from foldable aluminium mesh before being scaled up into steel: a playful, intuitive approach that defines her studio’s language. The piece is composed of soft, nested forms that gently deceive the eye: at first glance, Astral appears entirely free of straight lines, yet its shelves are precisely levelled and fully functional, ready to hold the objects and passions of those who live with it.

Astral is a metal storage unit that celebrates irregular, elliptical sculptural forms, creating a seamless dialogue between art and everyday life. It forms part of the Cosmic collection, designed in collaboration with Faye Toogood.

Available in the Plaster version (Shiny Ivory, Matt Ivory) and Green version (Shiny RAL 7013, Matt RAL 7013)
