Unique sideboard made from stable wood. 2 doors and 6 drawers
An acquaintance of Piet's offered him this stable wood. Incredibly thick wood. The wood was used for this cabinet in such a way that the blocks were not planed but left rough. So there are rough and flat sections. So all the cubes are odd and it is quite a task to get all the cubes nicely into place to achieve look/composition. The cubes are placed on a plywood body. Quite remarkable is that the saw line is almost invisible. It took at least 300 hours for Piet's carpenter to craft this cabinet.
2 hidden doors and 6 hidden drawers. The hinges of brass which were specially designed for this cabinet so custom made in Piet's own workplace.
The cabinet is waxed.
