This fauteuil is designed and made by Piet Hein Eek for SPECTRUM, inspired by a design from 1968 by Dutch designer Martin Visser. Mart Visser's early furniture is accessible to a large audience in a refined way, but his later furniture is very outspoken.
Piet Hein Eek used the way the railing sits on the woodwork, but enlarged the different elements. This way he transformed a model from 1968 into his design style from the 1990s. The result is a chair that you can actually use in all directions.
