Danny Cremers (Netherlands, 1984) is an Amsterdam based designer. He works with hand-crafted porcelain. Originally trained in fashion design at Central Saint Martins (London), he explores classical forms through subtle imperfections. His vases embody a subtle tension between freedom and control, featuring textured surfaces and loosely constructed forms. In his work, he combines natural shades and pop colours, glazes and matte effects. Inspired by the energy of sketching - open, intuitive, without finality - he tries to capture that same immediacy in each finished piece.
