The Capas rug celebrates the interplay of layered color, tonality and shadow to create rich visual depth without heaviness. Designer Mathias Hahn developed the concept from the idea that shadows are never just black or grey, but full of color and geometry. Through an in-depth study of traditional Kilim weaving, Capas uses nuanced chromatic layering to achieve subtle shifts in tone, texture and dimensionality. Hand-woven with ancestral techniques, it feels relaxed yet refined and integrates effortlessly into a variety of interiors. The collection is available in five vibrant colorways to suit different spaces and palettes.
